This
wheel is used to transport very soft materials. The wheel crushes
to prevent damage to the product. Once tooling is produced,
we can change the crush load requirements by changing the urethane
supplied. We can make the crush load very low if needed to move
the product. Please call with your requirements. |

This
part is an FDA approved belt cleaner segment. The hex in the
center is used to drive the cleaner. We make the cleaner in
several different hardnesses depending on the material being cleaned.
We can provide both FDA dry and FDA wet urethanes for your application.

The
grooved wheel pictured allowed the customer to land a multi-million
dollar contact. When AUS was first
contacted, several other wheel designs had been tried without success.
After discussing the problem, we suggested the design shown and tested
three different hardnesses. The grooved wheel not only functioned
every time, but lasted longer than any other product tried.

This
part encounters severe and constant impacts. AUS
worked to provide a 75 Shore D material that would withstand the impacts.
The only field failures to date have been the 1/4" steel insert breaking.
Please call us if you have need for impact resistance. |

The
customer required a very stiff part with a controlled co-efficient
of friction. With the proper urethane compound and mold texture,
we were able to provide the desired results. The parts slide
at the correct speed to allow the machine to function as required.

Advanced
Urethane Solutions
provided these wiper seals in the two configurations to prove out
a prototype for one of our customers. The seals were made in
several different durometers (hardnesses) to test different setups.
These seals are exposed to chlorine, water and UV light. We
maximized the life and productivity for our customer. |
